About Rafael & Nathalie
Nathalie Milá Regalado was born on 09/28/1985 in Havana, Cuba. She started her artistic career with classical dance at the age of 6 at the Pro-Dance Center of Cuba, directed by the great maitre Laura Alonso. She obtained 2nd place in the competition of Alicia Alonso being only 11 years old. She continued her career in Teatro América en Cuba with satisfactory results arriving at the place of the first dancer. Since 6 years she has been living in Rome, Italy. She is continuing her passion participating in several internationally renowned congresses.
Rafael Hernández Clavijo was born in Havana (Cuba) on September 23, 1981. He began his training at the Casa della Cultura in Old Havana and then continued in different schools. At the end of his training he joined the company of the Teatro América in Havana Cuba, where he will continue his studies with teachers such as Domingo Pau, Juan Carlo Castaño, Santiango Alfonso and others.
He became one of the first recognized dancers and choreographers of the comapañia. Today he works in Rome as a teacher at his Timba Mia school accompanied by the first dancer of the Teatro América in Havana Nathalie Mila Regalado. He has also formed his own company called Adoquin Company.
